Thoroughly To The Point

Ahhh, nothing quite like a nice refreshing read to satisfy my day.  I had stopped over at a fellow Patriot's blog today to read a post that I must admit, made me proud.  The post was created by SFMedic in regards to a letter written by Michael Nellet.  It was the type of letter in which I could see "We the People" use as a template to start filling up some of these life term politicians mail boxes to let them know the following:

"HEY!  We are on to you!"

Regardless, I encourage you to read it.

.70 Caliber Glaser Ammo?

Awhile ago, I stumbled across a video that not only amazed me in its simplicity, but it amazed me in regards to its historical reference in ammo manufacturing.  For anyone that owns a shotgun, we know that we could stroll down to Wally-MartVille and pick up a box of 100 rounds of 8-shot 12 gauge rounds for about $22.  If we take the average price of a box of 12 gauge slugs at $5 per 5 rounds, and multiply that by 20, it will cost you roughly $100 for the slugs.

In the video below, we see a gentleman using a double barrel.  If you are like me, you probably have a Mossberg 500 or Remington 870 which is a pump.  I have not tried what is demonstrated in the video because I do not own a double barrel.  I am not sure if this application will work in the pump or even semi-auto shotgun arena, but someday I intend to try it.

With ammo and the like on the rise in price, we all have to make some sort of sacrifice here and there.  If I can get a box of 100 rounds of 12 gauge 8-shot to effectively eject as a .70 caliber glaser round, you better believe I am going for the discount at $22 per 100.

III Arms, The Interview

I know that some of you readers may have already seen this elsewhere through other Patriot sites or even the main source from which this stems from.  If you have not and want to know what III Arms is, then I highly suggest you hop over to GUERRILLAMERICA for the interview conducted with non other than Jim Miller, the CEO of III Arms.

Read it first hand here.

Order your III Arms pistol and/or rifle here.

Silly Sheeple, The Country Has Voted

I have no sympathy for what I am about to write.  As a matter of fact I am going to gloat about it!  I am a firm believer in karma.  In due time, you will get yours.  Good or bad, you are gonna get it.  I just like when I get to witness karma take effect.  I bathe in its glory and smile and laugh maniacally whilst you drown in your misery and stupidity.

So what did you think was gonna happen if Zero was re-elected?  Did you really think unicorns would come down from the sunny sky farting pixie dust and rainbows?  Did you really think upon his re-election we would truly be better off with "change"?  Well you complacent government tit sucking lemmings, you reap what you sow.  The country has spoken and guess what, you are fucked like the rest of us.  The only difference between you and I is that YOU voted for your demise whilst I opposed it.  So yes, it sucks for me, but boy OH BOY it reeeeeeeeeeeeally sucks for you since you fed into it!

So Pennsylvania, it would appear that your sardine can locations such as Erie, Filth-adelphia and Allegheny counties have spoken for the rest of the Commonwealth.  2012 Pennsylvania Voting results here.

To put this into perspective, and what has initiated this rant today, the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) has come forth to state that it will be cutting employees hours due to the Affordable Care Act (AKA Obamacare, AKA WeAreAllFuckedCare) to save $6 million.  CCAC is acting fast on this.  Even though the WeAreAllFuckedCare does not go into effect until 2014, CCAC could incur retroactive charges for the 2013 calendar year.  So all you teachers, janitors, clerical assistants etc have just had your hours cut since CCAC will not have the funds to cover what is necessary in the WeAreAllFuckedCare guidelines.  Aside from the employees, the students have also inadvertently been affected as tuition increases significantly.  So if I analyze this situation, you are still raising tuition for students to go there, but cutting the hours of the employees.  Gee, wonder how many to a class now if indeed there is a class to be had?

The CCAC article here.

Common sense tells me the following.  You are a community college in Allegheny county so therefor between staff and students, I am willing to bet the majority went to Zero in the election.  We all know most teachers and the like are union or demon-cratic supporters.  That's fine and your choice, not mine.  However, I now witness karma.

The quote from the movie Office Space comes to mind, "Good luck with your layoffs, all right? I hope your firings go really, really well."

Donations and The Like

Some of you like to donate.  I do, but I try to think before I open my wallet or my time.  I caught this post on a fellow Patriot's new blog a week or so ago and have been meaning to link to it.  If you missed it, I highly suggest you read it if you like to donate.  No sense in supporting those that obviously don't support us.

You Sank My.......Octocopter?

Well it would appear that it is "Drone" season here in Pennsylvania.  Funny thing, I don't recall there being a recipe for drones as my dear Grandma never had to cook one.  I also don't recall there being a listing of when Drones are in season or the limit.

I will however say that with the onslaught of technology these days, if you go poking the bear, you might get swat at.  Here in PA it would appear that an animal rights group had their flying camera (Octocopter) shot down at a legitimate pigeon shoot.

The wonderful story HERE.

Which then leads me to think after reading the story, who brings a rifle to a pigeon shoot?  You may want to check your facts there Sharkypoo, cause last I checked pigeons are typically hunted with a shotgun, but you would not know that as you probably never fired a gun, but yet require everyone around you to follow your anti-gun and anti-hunting stance.  Do you have a clue as to what the Game Commissioner does?  Didn't think so.  Maybe before making a stance on animal rights, why not look at statistics of the following:  If it was not for the Game Commission, the regulation of deer population would not be possible and the limits when acquiring a license for the year would change in a plus or minus.  As for pigeons, have you ever been to the fucking city?  Case closed.

No Refrigerator?

One of the best email list I have had the pleasure to receive is the one from Dave Morris at Survive The Coming Collapse.  It is free to join and like most sites that send you information, you can take away some solid ideas from the site.

The email I received today is something that has been on my mind for sometime.  Sure we may have generators, but eventually what will you do when we have rationed fuel or not fuel at all?  Do you envision yourself taking your 5 gallon Jerry Can on a trek to go get some fuel in guarded territory?  I didn't think so either.  So I began to ponder things like Cold Packing, Fruit Cellars, Smokehouses and today I see David Morris did an article about Cheese and Yeast.

You can find David's article here and it is quite informative.  The video regarding keeping cheese has totally peaked my interest.  I know the video is 20+ minutes long, but it is worth it as she demonstrates issues with current store bought cheese and its water content.

For those that like to brew beer, wine or something a little more potent, the article also talks about longevity of yeast.  Even though the article talks about using it in a bread scenario, keep in mind that bartering bread or beer could be advantageous in the future.

David's Article Here.

Aside from Yeast and Cheese, if you every thought about a smoke house, I picked up I nice little book on Amazon regarding their construction.  It is not very big, but quite informative.  From pit smoking a fish to an actual smoke house, you will find information in how to extend the life of food a little longer when refrigeration is not available.

Build a Smokehouse

Got some ideas?  I would love to hear them.  Post your comment so we all can learn.

In the Dark of the Night

I know we all have our preferences when it comes to tac-lights.  Some like Surefire, some like Streamlight and so on and so on.  Years ago a friend of mine acquired the Kimber Warrior with a tac-rail.  He also acquired the TLR-1 light.  Now back then, the lumens were not that intense.  However, when I asked him to paint me with the light in my kitchen with all my lights on in said kitchen I could not see.  The light was that intense and reminded me of my childhood at Christmas when getting blinded by Aunt <insert any Aunt name here>'s camera that you needed SPF 90 just to have your picture taken.

Now let's fast forward to today.  Primary Arms has an email distribution list.  I would suggest you get on it.  They send out deals as they happen and it just so happens that I got the light shown above for $89.99.  I live on 1.5 acre plot and there is about 2.5 clear acres between my house and my parents.  The other night I got a phone call from my parents stating that there may be a deer that got hit by a car suffering between us.  Well I grabbed my rifle, some hollow rounds and headed out into the darkness.  The TLR-1s casts a beam of light that enabled me to see 2 acres in the darkness.  This light for its size far exceeds my expectations.  With the steady on function, momentary function or even the strobe function this little light is a wonderful addition to my rifle.

I would like to add that I am sure if you had a full size pistol with a tac-rail this would more than likely fit.  I have an XD 9 Sub Compact and this particular light is too big and will not work, but that is not what I bought it for.  I bought it for my rifle.  The only advice I have regarding the strobe is if you are using this feature in your house performing a sweep, make sure you do not paint light colored walls or you will learn first hand why the strobe feature is unique.

In this video, you will see the light's point of view, then the bad guy's point of view

Controversy in the Back Yard

Title 4 Chapter 1, section 8(a)
§8. Respect for flag
No disrespect should be shown to the flag of the United States of America; the flag should not be dipped to any person or thing. Regimental colors, State flags, and organization or institutional flags are to be dipped as a mark of honor.
  1. The flag should never be displayed with the union down, except as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property.
The elections are over and now we have those that are displaying their opinion to the outcome.  In my back yard in Pittsburgh, it would appear that someone who has the right to fly the flag union side down based on their belief has gotten into some hot water.

Article Here

I would say we are in distress and extreme danger to life and property wouldn't you?

Ahhh Grasshopper, It's Erection Day

So this morning I thought of something funny.  Well I thought it was funny so I am going to share it none the less.  The play on words is Erection Day as opposed to?  Yep!  You guessed it.  Election Day.  Now as stated, this was in the morning.  I am a guy.  You're smart people so you can probably figure out why a guy, in the morning came up with "Ahhh Grasshopper, It's Erection Day".

So for Erection Day, I would like to define a word.  Do you know what the definition of "Torque" is?  Well today on Erection day, you will now know the true meaning of "Torque".

Torque /tork/  verb;  Defined as the act of a males toes sliding backwards from the toilet as he pushes down on his bemho to take a piss.

Bemho /Bem - ho/  Acronym; Basic Early Morning Hard On

Oh round eye, you make me ROR!

ROR /arr-oh-arr/  Acronym; Raugh Out Roud

Sandy Yields New Target Range

In the wake of the destruction Sandy, we find a note.  It may be presented as a harsh note, maybe not politically correct to some, but to me I say OPEN FIRE!!

Thanks Major Wolf from Duty and Honor for Liberty for the pic

I am sorry, but as for the looters, I have no sympathy.  I seen the Tweets, I seen the online rants.  "I cant waits to start me some lootin'" or "I cant wait till eyes gets me a fort-ay six inch television fo' free"

Really?!  I recall the looters of Katrina.  The FSA completely 100% at work.  So if there is devastation to property that is NOT yours does that make it immediately public domain?  Does the fact the majority of those that loot already suck the tit of the government?  Why do I have to take a piss test for me to work whilst you stand in your brand new Air WhatTheFuck'ever Nike shoes, have designer jeans draped off yer ass, and go to the barber on a regular basis to have your hair look like it was masked off and spray painted on your head like Wooly Willy?

Plus you have a phone or computer or both that enables you to post shit on Twitter stating your intentions!  So with that, I say who ever the person is that spray painted this in front of their house, you sir or ma'am deserve a fucking medal!  Hell I would turn it into a game with the neighbors.  Get a couple Motorola Walkabouts and set'em all to the same channel.  When the looter comes into proximity have a point system associated with your shots.  After all, we can all assume that a looter is just one step away from going to prison for theft since looting during a global crisis tends to be a gateway to theft.  Oh, wait looting is theft.

Exactly How I Feel

Yep!  Pretty much sums up exactly how I feel about the upcoming election.  Saw this on the cover of the local City Paper.
